Yay! More Munson Paddock on the Chen Chang strip! His swirling intensity is so different from everyone else of this period. Always a treat!

Like the previous comment, I'm a fan of Munson Paddock as well, but here's one the previous fan didn't pick up on . Apparently Munson Paddock was actually Cecilia Munson Paddock, perhaps the earliest female comic book artist. It's hard to find out much about her. The Green Mask strip is the first time I've seen Walter Frehm demonstrate the effects of having worked as Will Gould's assistant on "Red Barry." Our page 27 shows a particularly strong Gould influence.

Munson Paddock was not a woman. The Oct. 2015 comment is incorrect. Leroy Munson Paddock was his name. I believe Trina Robbins made this error and it has been repeated from time to time.
