This is bizarre artwork, especially for an Amalgamated Press book. Though their artists could be stodgy they were almost all technically competent. Not here! All the characters have smashed-in faces and bodies that twist and melt. In addition the women have huge amateurish eyes that don't stay in place. Check out our page 26, panel 2. It wouldn't be out of place in a Fox romance comic.
