This is a truly bizarre book. Atomic bombs are nothing to get too worried about Apparently!

That cover! Just... wauw!

As one who grew up during the Cold War and suffered nightmares about nuclear war, I find this book extremely creepy--yet typical of all the rubbish we were fed about Our Friend the Atom. If this were a truly realistic comic, Spot would have turned into The Hulk.

AAARRGH!! Do you know how hard it was for me to find this comic on the site? I could only remember the iconic cover image, but not the title of the comic or the publisher. Why oh why is this one not linked in the "Atomic Comics and books"(/?cbplus=atomic) section ?? Other titles that should be listed in that category but aren't include WORLD WAR III No. 1-2 (cid=1641), ATOMIC SPY CASES No. 1 (dlid=18934), OPERATION SURVIVAL! (dlid=20930), ATOMIC BUNNY (cid=2483), and CAPTAIN ATOM (cid=2430).
