"Undersea Agent" is a great adventures comic. Of course it's 1967, but I'm sure it must have been great to read then. Very well drawn, great sceneries, a really bad guy... I only think that some dialogues could be better, but overall I gave it a 7 star rating.

Hallo Comic Lovers! It is great to find Ray Bailey`s other tenures in the comic book realm. It is really such a novelty for me! I knew his work at Have Gun, Will Travel, Steve Canyon and Tom Corbett. Thanks for the free access to these gems!

I have the original of page 12 (DB+ Numbering). A treasure. Bailey was so-o-o good.

I thought I would really enjoy this given its publication date and what I thought would be the driving force behind the characters and story, namely a vintage 60’s spy adventure with plenty of my favorite underwater action scenes. But once they brought in the old trope of Atlantis and then introduced humanoid sea creatures, my enthusiasm dropped. I’m not even a big fan of the mythology excesses in Sub-Mariner or Aquaman, but I realize I’m in the minority wanting less legend and fantasy and more real world settings and stories. Regardless, the artwork here is spectacular and the larger panels really give it a chance to shine. I also love the coloring choices, even with the less than ideal printing when it was published. Normally, I’m not a fan of recoloring comics, but I would like to see this one brighter and more vivid, if possible. You can just see how glorious it would look. Overall, a good read despite my reservations. Being 25 cents when released, I wonder how it sold?
