A very very good issue, but far from perfect. The first story is close to perfect, the ending is a little morbid, but this kind of attitude was common for the time, you will find it on t.v.'s The Twilight Zone, among others.A pleasant and quite enjoyable romantic fantasy with many surprises. The Alien story is reprinted from the last pre-code issue of Forbidden Worlds,I am surprised the data bank did not catch that.Few changes imposed by the code, but the original had better coloring. The story of the man and the number 27 was very good, but the ending had my sympathies up for him, same for the two page finishing story. Two Ogden Whitney stories is a cause for celebration, even if the first page of "Time Visitor" does not look like Whitney at all,and a Harry Lazarus,on art alone, this is a great issue. If only the endings were not so down beat on some of the stories,it would be close to perfect.
