Readers of Sparky's adventures in Big Shot Comics continue to send in letters regarding his dilemma whether or not to marry the invalided Dotty. There is a preponderance of "against". The long-retired Doc begins reading up on spinal surgery, with a view to operating. Dotty's sister Joyce, who wants Sparky for herself, bad mouths Dotty. The surgery is about to begin.
A developer tries to tear down the house haunted by Frankie and Dracky, but they just keep building it up again. He agrees to re-erect the house on the roof of the Million Bucks factory.
While out walking in Paris one night Tony hears a familiar mocking laugh. He encounters the former resistance leader Du Guerre and offers him assistance with their mutual old foe The Fencing Master of Europe. Tony had fought with him in his guise as The Face. He grabs the General's granddaughter and runs out of the room as a bomb explodes.
