"Brew of Death," the text-only story in this issue, feels like the climax of a longer story. I'm curious whether anyone knows the source of this or the other 2-page text stories in this series.

The baron was a general and vampire, who can only be killed by thrusting his own sword through his heart. Lots of fighting and fencing begin. The baron can be defeated in a duel to the death.

They get kidnapped by the terrible trees, but are saved by the father who sets himself aflame and burns his fellow trees.
