CreditsPencils: Lawrence Dressler | Inks: Lawrence Dressler
ContentGenre: Western-frontier
NotesDressler is credited to Hillman westerns in 1948-50 by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, and his art is different from most other artists in this series, more like pen and ink in book illustrations, and it match so well with a Dressler credited story in Tales of Terror #2, that this most likely is his work.
Comic StoryCold Six-Guns (5 pages)
ContentGenre: Western-frontier
Comic StoryThe Hash-Knife Brand (7 pages)
CreditsPencils: Bob Jenney | Inks: Bob Jenney
ContentGenre: Western-frontier
NotesBob Jenney is credited to both pen and ink in Hillman comics by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, but strangely not on westerns. This art has so many similarities with Jenney, like faces, flap-over holsters and particularly the horses on page 3. They are none other than Jenney's. It is strange however, that his inking in Dell's Cisco Kid in the 1950's was not as elaborate as this from 1948. In the Jenney filler inside of the front cover of Cisco Kid #2 is a gun holster exactly like the on seen here on page 2.
