Some good fun. A couple of really bizarre stories, like the Basil Wolverton one and Korn Kops, And who are "Rojo" and "Suzy"? Good cartoonists, almost animation style.

I find it hard to beliweve that whoever did this cover wasn't aware of Stan Cross's original! Super famous down under! http://www3.slv.vic.gov.au/latrobejournal/issue/latrobe-65/fig-latrobe-65-053a.html 'Fo r gorsakes, stop laughing: this is serious!' https://artoon-blog.tumblr.com/post/93304125991/will-we-ever-stop-apologising-to-stan- cross Explanation and tribute cartoons. Enjoy!

Two comments: (1) This has a 1947 date but there are a number of references to wartime topics (notably rationing), suggesting some of this was old inventory. (2) A lot of the artwork has visible "paste-up" lines (check the Eugster cartoons but you can see them in other features as well) or some other printing issue.
