Serpent of Doom is an intriguing ronde of malice and degradation – though the writer has mixed up his Gods and mythologies – Apep, I believe, was the Egyptian serpent God of Chaos – Set was a kind of crossbred jackal/anteater type thing, though it’s true he was the trickster, playing much the same role as Loki in Norse mythology or Toerag in Celtic lore
