Comic StoryLet Peace Return to Earth! (8 pages)
SynopsisBlack X and Batu are directed to meet the ruler of Seljukana, capital of an old Eastern nation.
ContentGenre: Spy | Characters: Black X; Batu; Ramanza; Kazar
NotesProbably Quackenbush, with the many figures with short torso and also some short arms and fingers. Quackenbush has some signed stories in this feature and some in Military Comics from the same period, but not very similar. In this story he has swiped much from Prince Valiant, Jungle Jim and Lone Ranger, but consistent are some of his rather short figures and peculiar hands with short pointed fingers, and some heads in profile of Black X.

Comic StoryThe Art Gallery Murder (7 pages)
SynopsisBurglars have broken into the Deegan Art Galleries and stolen a painting.
ContentGenre: Superhero | Characters: The Jester [Chuck Lane]; Detective Hustace McGinty; Spider; Flipper; Deegan
NotesSimilar art to the credited pencil work on Manhunter stories in Police Comics #37-#59 by Peter Riss. The face of Deegan is most similar to the Riss faces. Another peculiar trademark is the hovering or flying figures when punched on the jaw, which can be found in Police Comics at least 12 times and even more in Jester and Rookie Rankin.
