This issue is surprisingly heavy on war stories, for some reason. Even the Black Cat is featured in a war story. But the war stories disappear in the next issue, so keep reading!

this Block Cat story is credited to Joe Kubert, but the anatomy is nothing like Joe's, and neither is the panel layout on the pages.

I'll second that, Panther! For that matter I don't see any art resembling Bob Powell's either. I suspect the GCD credits are no better than rough guesses, but "no change there!"

[I suspect the GCD credits are no better than rough guesses, but "no change there!"] Oh, its clear that the modus operandi is to,'where possible' ask somebody who might have been there or might know somebody who was. That's reasonable, but they don't seem to be able to verify that testimony with the evidence of their own eyes. I am a trained artist, and I -mostly- can trust the evidence of my eyes. cheers!
