Additional Information

PublicationFebruary 1941 | Price: 0.10 USD | Pages: 1 | Frequency: every month
NotesI know why we're calling this Celardo, BUT it looks very different from signed Celardo cover on #27. Keith Chandler : Celardo is clearly the inker on the Bob Reynolds figure, but Sheena appears to be Powell, probably pencils and inks.

CoverCurse of the Black Venom
CreditsLetters: typeset
ContentGenre: Jungle | Characters: Sheena; Bob Reynolds

NotesPossibly this is a collaged reprint from some of the early Jack Kirby episodes. The splash panel is certainly a reuse of the Stuart Taylor figure on the cover of Jumbo #10.

NotesMany diverse hands, and possibly a collage of earlier strips - certainly the splash panel is "adapted" from the cover of Jumbo #11.

CreditsScript:? [as Fred Sande] (credited)
ContentGenre: Western-frontier | Characters: Wiley Wilton; Snorty; Sagawan; Gabby Wacko; Mexican Joe
NotesArt is by a Lou Fine wannabe - or collaged from earlier Wilton strips?

NotesPossible George Tuska involvement on page two. Note that "Tasnul" is an anagram of "Sultan". One-and-only appearance.
