He departs for Burma, and Sue tries to forget him in the arms of other men. One of these men, Frank, tells her he was working in Burma and heard international spy Mara had targeted Rod. Sue travels to Burma where she rescues Rod from the femme fatale just in time.

At a town meeting, Mark stands up for Jan and says “anybody who picks on us from now on will have a handful of trouble!”
