"Randolph Scott never had a comic book named after him—but his likeness graced the cover of five Western comic books and one of his movies was adapted into comic book form.
Scott first appeared on the cover of PRIZE COMICS WESTERN #76 (July/August ‘49). The first story was an excellent 14 page adaptation of Scott’s “Canadian Pacific” with handsome renditions of Scott, Jane Wyatt and others by Mart Bailey. Bailey was the victim of a mugging during the ‘60s in which he suffered a head injury that left him almost totally incapacitated."
