Here we go again! Why give this comic such a low rating??? It's funny and the art work is great. If you are going to give it a low number make a comment it would help!

I watched most of the Andy Hardy movies years ago when one of my local TV stations decided to play one every Saturday until the whole series was done. Really enjoyed them and even owned three old VHS videos with the ones that Judy Garland was in. I didn't know there was also a comic book. This was fun and the art is really good. Reminds me a bit of Archie in both the art style and the stories. There are four complete stories and some one-pagers. Times have changed and a few of the remarks would be seen as sexist today. For example when Andy has a disagreement with Polly and she's not speaking to him, his mother tells him about a similar argument she once had with Andy's father in which Judge Hardy knocked the door down. Andy marches over to Polly's house to do the same. When she won't let him in, he says 'You're asking for it, woman' and literally kicks the door down. She thinks he's wonderful for being so masterful. Today she'd be calling the police and getting a restraining order! But this is the 1950s and of course it all comes unstuck by the end of the story and Andy manages to get in her bad books again. The other stories are fun and show Andy getting in the usual scrapes, though he and best friend Beezy do manage to catch a crook with their cutting-edge two-way car radios! All in all, a great touch of nostalgia. I found myself smiling a few times while reading it.
