I REALLY wanted to give this book ten stars for the gorgeous artwork alone! The Black Phantom is one BEE-YOOTIFUL woman as rendered by Frank Bolle, I'll be dreaming about HER tonight - don't tell my wife Peg, I really don't need her being jealous of a COMIC BOOK CHARACTER! The first story in this comic was the best, with a really good twist ending - the only drawback was Black Phantom mentioning a couple of missing allies, who we don't see for the whole darn book; I assume this was a series in another book - I don't know which one yet, but I WILL be on the lookout for it! The Ghost Rider story came as an unexpected bonus, I was glad to see him here. For those who only know Dick Ayers from his '60s work on Sgt. Fury, I think his '50s artwork will be a real eye-opener. IT WAS GREAT! All this and an ad for car upholstery - yep, I am one weird dude.
