The Dick Fulmine stories were drawn by Carlo Cossio. He was inspired visually by Italian boxing champ Primo Carnera. Vincenzo Baggioli was co-creator and writer. Note that in the Spanish version Dick became a "great Hispanic American detective." The Italian Fascist government had a lot of input on the series; Dick's Wikipedia entry is interesting reading.
