I agree with the previous comment. Will Eisner was a pioneer. Many forget he created the Blackhawk series.

Yes, it's the Spirit, but this was put out by the Eisner Studios, or Eisner Shop as the credits go. How much or how little input Will himself did is difficult to say. Nonetheless, these are still good stories and artwork.

Seems to me a fair amount of Grandenetti in the later stories. In any case the art is disappointing compared to actual Eisner stories.
