Some anomalies in the colouring in this issue: P.12 features a Spirit garbed in yellow instead of blue, and the central character's hair changes from blond on P.8 to black on P.9.

Of the 50s ghosts I've been seeing in this series, I have to say I like Al Wenzel the best so far. Even when he doesn't look like Eisner, his work has a cartoony vitality that keeps me interested. For a couple of minutes, I thought this might be the Wenzel who drew a thousand pretty girl cartoons (and memorably so), but that was Bill Wenzel.
