From today’s Random 12, an interesting blend of the supernatural and crime. A visit to Sleepy Hollow with ghostly Sergeant Spook leads to a modern mystery which only the semi-corporeal Spook can resolve. Wally Wood’s pencils leap out and grab you on The Sensitive Killer where a gunsel with bad feet, the Bunion Bandit you might say, shuffles into trouble. Her Face of Horror is a bit wordy – could be stretched into a decent novel, I guess, except that the plot is set on repeat and needs a sub-story to balance the main thread.

Great cover by LB Cole. Headless Horseman, skeletal horse, hanged man, grotesque tree, gravestones in a cemetery. Did he leave anything out? Oh wait, no blonde in a red dress!
