SynopsisExplorer Will goes in search of the buried city of Tahoo, allegedly guarded by sorcerer Nisba. Rulah rescues Will from a lion-monster sent by Nisba and advises him to leave, but Will refuses. Rulah and Will are captured by Nisba, who tosses them in his lion pit, but Rulah tricks the monsters into killing their own master. The lion-monsters return to their stone form, the curse of Nisba broken.

SynopsisBoxer Hogan prevents his wartime pal Eddie from committing suicide. Eddie, an ex-Marine, got into debt and embezzled funds from a bank. After Hogan and Eddie defeat some hold-up men, Hogan's manager Spigot gets the idea to promote Eddie as a boxer too. He arranges for Eddie to knock out Hogan while sparring, and the ensuing publicity makes it possible for Eddie to get a contract that allows him to pay off his debt. Spigot thanks Hogan for taking the dive but Hogan says "That sock was on the level!"
