The stories are reprints from Fawcett and Toby war comics, cleaned up for the Comics Code. Flying bodies and bayonet strikes were removed, of course, but the strangest change was the removal of sound effects from the lead story, which used to be full of them. I don't know why "Kau-au Ffftttt!" violated the Code, but...
