I thought you had to make a man desire you to make him like you.” Mike has been listening: Drew is an old friend and they set this up to prove a point to Cora. Mike and Cora reconcile.

Helen is unable to tolerate Mrs. Peters and goes home to her own mother, who admits that her marriage didn’t fail because of her mother-in-law, but because of her own immaturity. Helen reconciles with Brad and her mother becomes friends with Mrs. Peters.
