Text StoryThe Yellow Dog (2 pages)
SynopsisBig Rick, a 38-year veteran guide, watched as a bear severely injured his dog, Nugget. Not wanting to have a dog around that could be a liability, Rick gives the dog to an old trapper friend of his, Eric. Eric then used the dog to track down dangerous wolverines. After that, the old trapper saw no use for the dog until one day a giant brown bear attacked Eric in his cabin, and, though severely injured, the dog held off the bear long enough for Eric to kill it. A few years later, when Eric died, the dog somehow made his way back to Big Rick, who later died in 1926.
