Philip Morris The Cigarette With A Man's Kind Of Mildness Presents ... "Duke" Handy

Page 1:

"Yeah! They call me Duke! - Which is a country mile from the fancy name my parents hung on me!"

I picked it up knocking around the 48 - alomd with a lot of know-how on ways to make a clean buck!

Starting in this space next Sunday Philip Morris will present the adventures of "Duke" Handy, a sensationally new and different story comic!

Page 2:

"I was headed east after helping finish $500,000,000 worth of dam - and all I meant to do in this town was change buses."

"But it was a very friendly town ..."

Page 3:

"Your friend has the earmarks of a guy I'd like to meet Trish!"

"Maybe later, Duke. he's here on a secret real estate deal! - New Shopping Center - Very hush hush! Name's Mark Deene!"

(If I bought that my head was pointed! Realtors don't go around clobbering garage men!)

Page 4:

"I could see that the cop wasn't about to believe my story ... and I didn't blame him!"

"Talk fast Mister!"

Page 5:

"We'll put you up "Duke", till you can get located! ... By the way don't bother my niece about ... uh ... this!"

"My new boss played 'em close to his shirt! ... and I wondered who was dealing"

Continued next week when Philip Morris - the no filter, no foolin' cigarette - brings you more thrills with "Duke" Handy!
