I enjoy the varied cast of characters and the old-fashioned cartooning. However based on the American actors I know and the handful of Brits I'm familiar with (Terry-Thomas, Peter Sellers, Tony Hancock, Harry Secombe), it seems the writers put the characters into generic stories that don't take advantage of each performers' unique personality.
