No way is the lead story drawn by Charles Quinlan. Compare to the signed story in the previous issue.

I agree about the Cat Man story. A couple of faces look vaguely Quinlan-like, but his typical hyper-detail is missing. The King Billy of Ainbrit story has a couple of points of interest. First, Billy's sister Betty (who keeps asking him "How do I look?" in a very un-sisterly way) is drawn in an extremely sexy manner, lots of cleavage. Also, on page 2 of the story, we see why comic book writers were told not to use the word "flick" (because the L and I would run together to spell a naughty word). In this case Betty says "You're the suckiest kid brother any girl could have!" when I think they meant "slickest" (since "slickiest" isn't a word).

Dwilt, I think it's a Saul Rosen thing. Carol in the Devil Dogs story could be Betty's twin. She hangs out of her dress and suggests "it's true what they say about Marines" while smirking suggestively. And in Rosen's Al Addin story the underdressed princess offers Al a kiss ("Hot dog! This'll be swell!"). Just fulfilling those adolescent fantasies. Rosen obviously wasn't taking all this too seriously, considering the villain is named Khil Joye and the princess Shwee Tums. Edit: The first time through Devil Dogs I missed a funny gag. A bad guy gives White information, then is killed by a hurled dagger. White remarks, "To think he died just after he squealed instead of before-- it never happened that way in a comic book."
