NotesSergeant O'Brien was another of Miller's long-running 50's titles; a secret agent in the employ of the presumably British government and tackling spies and agents of the 'foreign' powers in the never-ending cold war. Hard to believe now how much this communist/anti-communist politic dominated the decades following WW2. Secret agents abounded it seems in every popular genre. In this very late issue, O'Brien is called in to help the Canadians deal with a saboteur and the right amount of derring-do in the cold Canadian north sees him get his man. The free world can breath a sigh of relief until the next issue at least. Again, not sure just exactly how long the run went, but suspect this was getting near the end. Ernesto
