Beauty unites us, uplifts us, provides us with solace and hope in a dispiriting world. Beauty comes in many forms – music, drama, art, Brian Bolland’s inks, an Eric Cantona cross-field pass or a classic Wally Lewis underarm offload across the centres to the wing. (Add your own examples below) It may also be found in a Billy Bunter Christmas script. Tired of Michelangelo’s colour overload? DaVinci’s dreary precision pencils? Van Gogh’s little man dancing on a table on a starry, starry night? Give Frank Richards a go – watch as Bunter struggles to goose a ghost, poach a pudding and most important of all, find a feed, and all in time for Xmas. Sheer Heaven!
