I'd been turned on to Mel Crawford's cartoon paintings on John Kricfalusi's blog way back when--but this is the first I've seen of his non-painting line work. And how sweet it is...

Until I saw this on a blog, I had no idea Mel Crawford did such wonderful "animal" work. This really is up there with the best Dell funny-animal comics.
