SynopsisJim and his fiancée Terry co-own a failing restaurant; she wants to hire a “name band” to boost business, but he says they can’t afford it. Using her own money, Terry hires bandleader Ralph Flanagan, which ruins Jim’s plans to sell out to Mr. Gainer. Jim angrily leaves. The restaurant is a success, but Terry misses Jim. Ralph sends Jim a fake telegram indicating Terry is in the hospital, and Jim rushes to her side. They reconcile.

Les wins the race, is reunited with Laura, and decides to retire and design cars for others.
