Its annoying that so many of these fawcett movie adaptations can't identify the artists. This one is excellent.

It's funny. The face of the hero looks like a more seriously drawn version of Captain Marvel.

That's an apt observation. Alan 'Rocky' Lane, judging by the photographs, would have made an excellent screen Captain Marvel.
