SynopsisEllen is a nurse on a military base in the Middle East and is courted by Hank. However, she's fallen in love with Craig who believes she and Hank are a twosome. Hank wants to marry but Ellen gently puts him off. He flies into the desert, apparently to kill himself. Shortly thereafter, Ellen returns to the States and finds employment in a hospital. One day, Craig walks in. He takes her to an apartment where Hank is living. Hank didn't die in the desert but crashed and lived with nomads for three months. Craig insists that Ellen marry Hank after all the turmoil he's been through but Hank surprises the two by introducing them to his fiancee, Patricia. Ellen is free from any obligation to Hank, and Craig proposes.

SynopsisStar meets Tony at a cancer benefit ball. After he hears her sing, he hires her for his new television show. They date during rehearsals and fall in love. In the show's premiere episode, Star sings but, unknown to her, Tony clowns-around behind her. The audience loves the horseplay and the show is a success, but Star is humiliated and furious. She kicks Tony out of her life and finds a few modeling jobs. Tony tries to contact her but she won't take his calls and discards his letters unopened. One day, she hears Tony's show is threatened with cancellation because of her sudden and unexplained departure. She doesn't want to ruin Tony and, with his agent's assistance, she surprises everyone by appearing unannounced on his show. The audience greets her with an ovation. Tony is overjoyed and the two agree to marry.

SynopsisGloria is an orphan and a wealthy heiress under the guardianship of her Aunt Martha. She would like to have male callers but her Aunt does everything possible to drive boys away from the house. David Minton, a family friend, finds ways to see Gloria without Aunt Martha's knowledge. When he proposes, Gloria accepts but backs out when she realizes she has accepted only to escape her Aunt's house. Aunt Martha becomes more vigilant and domineering. Gloria meets and falls in love with Neil, an assistant to her Aunt's attorney. She learns from him that her parents' fortune will become hers alone when she marries and her Aunt will no longer have access to it. Gloria decides her happiness is paramount. She marries Neil and leaves her Aunt's house without regrets.

Elsa knows she should drop him but the sex is good and she can't leave him. He cheats on her, but still the sex keeps her cemented in a relationship. She wants marriage and he consents but only if she'll take $1500 from the bank to buy wedding rings. He promises to replace the money within 24 hours. She takes the money, but later discovers him making love to another woman and planning to leave town with her. She returns the money to the bank without being discovered and kicks Karl out of her life for good.
