The stories in this issue appear to have been produced as "Cheyenne Bodie" stories but were re-lettered and touched up to star "Bronco Layne" before publication. I suppose Dell was caught off-guard when Clint Walker went on strike and Ty Hardin took his place on the TV series. Bronco Layne's outfit is the same one Tom Gill drew on Cheyenne Bodie, and though a number of the faces have been redrawn many look pretty much the way Gill drew Clint Walker.
