Sept 1953 - c2c THREE Prime Basil Wolverton tales--along with that magnificent cover, including the transcendent "Nightmare World"-- PLUS a blatant Ming The Merciless swipe in "Slave Pits of Uranus" (A painful condition to be sure) and a Tony Mortellaro-drawn story, "The Desert Castle," wherein as the story progresses the characters increasingly look like macrocephalic bobble-head dolls (and no, that's not an intentional part of the narrative, unfortunately).
   By hotwheels
Basil Wolverton seems to be describing a bad acid trip in "Nightmare World".
