Loads to choose from on Random 12 today but I settled for a late-comer to the jungle princess genre - Vooda. Didn't regret the choice - exceptional art from Matt Baker and engaging stories throughout. |

Synopsis | John Abbott wants to take Joan Sarrett into the dangerous lands of Wakuna which is in the midst of tribal warfare. Their producer insists on getting an experienced guide, Kit the big-game hunter. This leads to a romantic rivalry of sorts between Kit and John, who spanks the rebellious Joan. The company is attacked by some of the tribes, and Kit has to rescue Joan. Eventually they drive off the attacking natives, and both John and Joan implore Kit to come to Hollywood, but he elects to stay in Africa. |
