Most likely to be the English edition distributed by Miller, as the original cover price of 8d has been overprinted as 6d for the British market.

As the indicia on the back page says, this was distributed in the U.K by Miller. There were a lot of Australian comics available in the U.K., some with the Aus. price covered and a British price stamped on; some with no changes as they came as ballast on boats from Australia and the newsagent simply scored through the Aus. price and wrote in any price they thought they could get. As to where to place these comics, well, as with American comics after distribution started, late '59, we wouldn't consider placing them as British comics despite a British price being on the cover.

This seems to be magazine of the day – I’m a sucker for oriental stories anyway. Decent art and a solid story of deception with a good cast – not often you find the hero’s sidekick is a stout balding middle-aged man, there’s hope for me yet.
