Mike changes his mind and agrees to let Betty marry Larry.

Meg thinks he’s attracted to Terry, a widowed longtime friend. When a well catches fire, Meg realizes she loves Dale and risks her life to be with him. Afterward, she apologizes to Terry and decides to stay with her husband.
