SynopsisMarcia is acquitted of her husband Martin’s murder through the efforts of lawyer Steve. Steve loves Marcia but she thinks he killed Martin. Marcia tells her story to a psychiatrist: Steve was her childhood friend who loved her, but she’s married to the abusive fortune-hunter Martin. Steve defends her, and Martin was later found dead. The psychiatrist finds a hidden diary which somehow explains that Martin accidentally shot himself. Marcia and Steve are now free to love each other.
