This is an exciting Sexton Blake Library entry involving an important military weapon that's being misused for major robberies, an intrepid MI5 man, Cliff Gordon, in hot pursuit of whoever stole the weapon (Sexton Blake himself doesn't appear until page 29 and is rather a secondary character in this one), a dastardly foe known only as U.20 (U as in 'Unknown'), a creepy do-gooder called Motley, and -for comic relief- Sergeant Horace 'Perishing' Pinn, among others.Keeps you guessing all the way. Rather reminiscent of British B-movies of the 50s, for which I'm a sucker. I own a copy in frayed condition, so it was good to be able to read this on my laptop and also on my Kindle, thanks to Comic Book +!
