NotesDirected by Bernard Knowlest | Written by Anne Rodney Minstrel Song: "A song has come to Robin's ears, from deep beneath the palace ground; it tells that Richard is alive, and John shall not be crowned!" Prince John (Donald Pleasence) has issued a decree that King Richard is dead and that he will be crowned King, Marian and Robin head to London and the Prince's palace to stop the Coronation taking place by proving Richard still lives, can Robin free the King's messenger from the Holy Land held in John's dungeon in time? This episode makes use of the folk song 'All around my Hat', said by Robin to be a favourite of Richard's in the Holy Land, though it would seem it wasn't written until the 19th Century.
