I first got a peek at a panel from this issue's "Return Of The Ghoul" in Comic Book Marketplace #73 (Nov. '99) and just had to see it, the old "returned from the grave" bit was always one of my favorites - imagine my surprise when EACH AND EVERY story in this comic equalled, if not SURPASSED, what I considered a GREAT pre-code horror tale! "The Corpse In Make-Up" - A ghost story, and a very good one. The line of the book was in this one - "Why did you have to kill me? Now we're both dead and I've got to rot away in the ground! Oh - I'm so afraid!" "Her Lips Dripped Blood" is a werewolf story - predictable, but still real entertaining. Last but not least is "Revenge So Evil", about a jealous scientist who infects his rival with a disease that basically turns him ugly, and - read it for yourself, IT'S A HOOT! What else can I say, I've always loved Superior Comics, with their nutty stories and Iger Studios art - now I love them EVEN MORE! I CAN'T WAIT to read MORE of these terrific pre-code gems!
