Thanks to owners and scanners. Moon Mullins is one of my favorites of the old time comic strips. I read the Sundays as a kid.

Moon Mullins seems to be a mix of Sunday comic strips with the occasional ancillary story such as you'd see in any book. These stories by Al Hartley and Frank Willard remind you of why narrative is better than a short set-up to a sight gag. But those short set-ups are what I remember from the Sunday paper and it was a terrific blast from the past to read these. They put the "funny" back in what we used to call "funny" books.
