Wow, that's just crazy. I can't believe Pines' printers did such a bad job. I mean I can SEE the edges of the pages, so I know it isn't just a clumsy scan. The PAGES were aligned correctly on the scanner, but some of the artwork as printed on the page is at a 30% angle off from being horizontally aligned. That's just a REALLY shoddy print job.

SynopsisMajor Christopher "Kit" Kendall and his fiancee Jane "Jinx" Howell are heading home from New Guinea to be married. Before they leave, a shaman gives June an pouch containing a powder that she swallows making her invulnerable. Their plane crashes, causing an avalanche which makes the lake recede and reveal the city of the Arohitans. The pair are attacked by the Arohitans, but June protects Kit. An Arohitan recognizes the pouch as containing the amulet of Kara, their former ruler. Believing June to be Kara, the Arohitans crown her their ruler and she names Kit leader of the Arohitan army.
