A radio producer plans to recreate a three year old murder of Carol Stevens. Sam is hired to find Jimmy Biddle, the doorman at the Broadway Burlesque at the time of the killing. He finds a reel of recording tape disguised as a typewriter ribbon and exposes the murder with the recording.
