The Cover is the best part, The inside art does not come anywhere close in quality. The 1st story's art in particular is really bad. Character's drawn VERY ugly. It looks more appropriate for some kind of hard boiled crime story. The rest of the art is okay-ish.

The first story is by Lee Elias, who was heavily influenced by Milton Caniff (and even worked on "Terry and the Pirates" in newspapers and comic books). This style does tend to make people look sour-faced, I will admit.

It’s too late: Chet says “I despise you and all you stand for!” He and Carrie get married and Sandy is left alone—still the “most popular girl around” but without true love.

Marsha falls ill and Johnny promises to wait until she’s 18 before they wed.

SynopsisShy Kate falls for Lon, director of the school play. Stuck-up Lola gets the main part so Kate agrees to work in makeup, types up the scripts, and learns Lola’s part as well. Lola is offered an interview by a talent scout and deserts the play on opening night. Kate goes on and is a big success, while Lola learns the “talent scout” was a lecher who “wanted a good time.” Lon and Kate fall in love and will marry after graduation.
