This complete Don Deeds adventure appeared in Comet in 1950 - 1951, starting out in b&w and soon with colour added. Although not the first Don Deeds story, this is the only complete one currently available. It seems that at no time was this a full page story, as it always shared a page, as did many Comet Strips, with a humour strip or editorial pieces. Nice art by R.W. Plummer who did a lot of work for Scion and C.C. Pearson before breaking through with work for Amalgamated Press. Thanks to colcool007 for the info.
