NotesTarzan & Nancy omitted as always; also missing the centerfold (last Ella Cinders page, and two stamp-collecting pages; the 4th side was the first Tarzan page). A freddyfly original production!

My main interest in this comic is the Spark Man who appeared in issues 1 through 57 (although some are reprints) and was not always "Spark Man" when he joined the army. It seems we are only about a dozen issues away from having all the issues from 1 through 57. Can't wait to see the other dozen or so issues show up some day. Here is hoping. Thank you for all your hard efforts to the scanners/posters for all of this. Mr_Goldenage

SynopsisBiltybux earns more money than he gives away, to his chagrin. When he and Bombo are rejected by military recruiters, they decide to contribute to the war effort by buying "defense bonds," encouraging others to do the same, and contributing to various military-related charities. The plan works too well: Biltybux is down to his last million, then gets an income tax bill for $2 million. He and Bombo convince the Army to allow to "work out the balance" of his debt as soldiers.
