I never could get into Mort Leav, especially as a romance artist. His women's faces--heck, even his men--are too grotesque for my tastes. Speaking of grotesque, I was blown away to see "Henpeck House" signed by Robert Q Sale. I know him mostly from his Atlas stories, where his characters always had misshapen faces with features that were all out of proportion with each other. He's much better here. |
